POWER BOAT TRAINING

Our 24-hour basic hands-on Course is not just on the water. We include trailering , launching and loading, emergency and self-rescue procedures, hands-on fire suppression and pyrotechnic familiarization.

This Course is designed for Power Boats less than 26 feet in Length (Class A and Class1 Vessels).

PERSONAL WATER CRAFT TRAINING

Our unique Basic 8 hour Course is a combination of Classroom and Hands-On (on-the-water) training offering you the skills you need to become a safer PWC operator.

Did you know PWC’s are considered a Class A Vessel and are regulated by the U S Coast Guard?

Who needs a boater safety education card in Florida?

Florida Boating Safety Educational Requirements were updated January 1, 2010. This update requires boat operators who were born on or after January 1, 1988 to obtain a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card in order to operate a motorboat with ten horsepower or more.

The requirements to take an approved boating safety course and to obtain a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) issued identification card are the same, but the age threshold for the educational requirements is now based on whether or not you were born on or after January 1, 1988.
