Airboat Safety Training and Certifications
Our TEAM of trainers and managers are dedicated to safety on the water for you, your company & others!
USA Marine Training has adopted the Department of Interior Airboat Operator Certification Course (AOCC) and the Motorboat Operator Certification Course (MOCC). Both Courses are approved by the US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, US Geological Survey, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation. The US Army Corp of Engineers has also seen the value in this hands-on-training and had adopted both powerboat and Airboat training for their employees.
Many State Colleges and Universities have seen the value in this hands-on training and have also adopted these courses to meet their needs. Examples such as Florida International University, University of Miami, University of South Florida, and East Carolina University have taken advantage of this unique training to train their own boat operators in safe boating skills, saving thousands of dollars in Liability Insurance alone and preventing costly Workers Compensation Claims and boating damage by inexperienced users.
USA Marine Training is proud to be endorsed by four of the largest Airboat manufacturers in the USA; Diamondback, Hamant , GTO and Alumitech Airboats. USA Marine Training continues to provide customers from these manufacturers with quality hands-on airboat safety training for recreation and professional operators. USA Marine Training offers discounts to those that have purchased or are purchasing Airboats from these manufacturers. When you call us, be sure to mention you have one of these Boats.

Who needs a boater safety education card in Florida?
Florida Boating Safety Educational Requirements were updated January 1, 2010. This update requires boat operators who were born on or after January 1, 1988 to obtain a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card in order to operate a motorboat with ten horsepower or more.
The requirements to take an approved boating safety course and to obtain a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) issued identification card are the same, but the age threshold for the educational requirements is now based on whether or not you were born on or after January 1, 1988.
